Alcoholism and addictions, if left untreated, are deadly diseases. If you or a loved one have problems with alcohol dependence, it is important to seek safe and effective treatment.
There are two components of alcohol addiction - physical dependence on alcohol, and mental/behavioral issues of addiction. Treatment centers like CASA Recovery have proven treatment programs that address both problems and prepare individuals for a safe and sober future.
Physical dependence on alcohol is an extremely dangerous condition. Withdrawal symptoms are life-threatening - without the care and oversight of medical professionals, fatal conditions can develop. CASA Recovery offers medical assessments, referrals to detox facilities and all different levels of programs to fit your individual needs.
If you're curious about the detox process - including withdrawal symptoms, treatments, and expected duration - you can read more about our alcohol and drug detox procedures and programs.
Treating the physical side effects of alcohol abuse is only one part of the healing process. Addressing the conflicts in our lives that have been created by alcohol abuse is an important step to long-term recovery.
Many members of our staff have first-hand experience with addictions and alcoholism. With fellow residents at local sober living homes,, there is a comfortable and understanding environment for those suffering from addiction. By using time-tested strategies and the 12-step model, CASA Recovery prepares alcoholics and addicts for life post-treatment.
Our Joint Commission Accredited outpatient program allows for a normal home life or the continuation of a professional career while in treatment. We structure our programs over extended periods to accommodate your work or school schedule. Outpatient programs are for those who can establish and show consistent abstinence and recovery without the need of a structured, residential program - but our outpatient programs do require attendance at our treatment center and 12-step meetings, as well as regular drug testing.
There is nothing wrong with desiring or needing a more structured program. Our 30-Day all-inclusive treatment programs allow an individual to be as safe and comfortable as possible during the recovery process. Instead of being restricted to a hospital atmosphere, our clients have a home-style environment shared with those in similar positions.
Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient options are CASA Recovery's recommended course of treatment, and we can offer extended programs covering 60 or 90 days. We even offer a six-month tailor-made program for extended assistance. Our programs have a comprehensive schedule that provides the opportunity to address both the physical and mental aspects of addiction. Twelve-step meetings are accompanied by personal training, yoga, or even acupuncture. Beautiful sober living homes provide a scenic and relaxing environment that allows our clients to focus on their recovery.
Simply stopping alcohol intake is only the beginning - and as discussed above, quite dangerous on its own. A healthy future requires additional focus on preventing relapse, developing healthy habits, and continuing dedication. At CASA Recovery, we address relapse triggers, beliefs and behaviors, core values, turning points, and even listening skills. There is far more to address in substance abuse than simply the substance.
A holistic approach while you are in a treatment center will lead to much better results in the future. Sobriety is never easy - there is a saying: "it doesn't get easier - you get stronger." Effective treatment can't just make people healthy - it has to make them strong, knowledgeable, and prepared for their future. This is why CASA Recovery offers our clients with everything from nutrition classes to job search assistance.
